Amanda Imperato, MSW, LMSW

Licensed Associate Social Worker

Compassionate care rooted in resilience, connection, and cultural understanding

Amanda is a warm and compassionate social worker who brings heart, humor, and deep understanding to the work she does. Whether you're facing a big life change, emotional overwhelm, or working through past trauma, Amanda’s calm presence helps you feel grounded and supported from the very first session.

Originally from the East Coast, Amanda earned her Bachelor's in Social Work from Georgian Court University in 2019. During her studies, she was selected for the BCWEP program, where she gained hands-on experience in child welfare services. She also interned at Catholic Charities, supporting unaccompanied minors through immigration and refugee services—an experience that deeply shaped her passion for advocacy and cultural humility.

After graduation, Amanda worked at a military academy, where she supported at-risk youth navigating behavioral and emotional challenges. Her love for helping others, especially underserved populations, led her to pursue her Master’s in Social Work at Hawai‘i Pacific University, where she graduated in 2023 with a concentration in Military and Veterans Affairs.

While living in Hawai‘i, Amanda soaked up the aloha spirit and served as a Behavioral Health Counselor in schools and a caseworker at a nonprofit supporting low-income families. From teens to seniors, she’s worked with clients of all ages and walks of life, always meeting them where they are with empathy and encouragement.

As a proud military spouse, Amanda knows firsthand the ups and downs of military life—and she’s especially passionate about helping individuals and families through periods of transition and uncertainty.

Now back on the mainland, Amanda is working toward her clinical licensure (LCSW) and continues to bring care, cultural sensitivity, and a sense of ease to her work. Her goal? To create a space where clients feel truly seen, genuinely valued, and confident to take the next step forward.
