Douglas Falasco, B.A., MSW Candidate
Master-Level Social Work Intern
Title secured. Origins unclear. Definitely human (we think)
Doug is our mysterious-yet-delightful Social Work Therapist Intern here at Mind Mechanix. Legend has it he wandered into the office one day, quietly holding a notebook, a coffee mug, and an open heart—and we just decided to keep him.
Currently pursuing his Master’s in Social Work, Doug is diving into the world of therapy with curiosity, compassion, and a talent for active listening that makes you wonder if he’s been doing this for lifetimes. He’s here to learn, grow, and support clients on their journeys—while also figuring out where we keep the good pens and how many inspirational sticky notes are too many.
Doug brings a warm presence, a thoughtful mind, and just the right dash of humor to every interaction. Whether he’s sitting in on sessions, supporting the team, or practicing his “therapist face” in the mirror (for research purposes, of course), Doug is dedicated to becoming the kind of therapist people feel safe with.
He may still be learning the ropes, but don’t be fooled—there’s wisdom behind those intern eyes. If you see him around the office, feel free to wave, ask him about his day, or challenge him to a duel of dad jokes. Just don’t ask where he came from. Some mysteries are better left unsolved.
