Doug may have started at Mind Mechanix as our mysterious-yet-delightful intern, but as September 2025, he’s officially graduated into his next chapter—earning his LMSW and stepping fully into the therapist role. While the “mystery” still lingers (we’re still not sure where he came from, only that he arrived one day with a notebook, a coffee mug, and an open heart), his growth has been anything but secret.

Doug brings a warm, grounded presence and a natural gift for active listening that feels as though he’s been doing this work for lifetimes. He blends curiosity, compassion, and a thoughtful approach to support clients in discovering their own resilience and capacity for change.

Known for his calm energy, quick wit, and ability to make people feel instantly at ease, Doug is dedicated to creating a space where clients feel both safe and supported. Whether he’s guiding individuals through challenges, helping them uncover new perspectives, or simply sprinkling in a dad joke or two when the moment calls for it, Doug shows up with authenticity and heart.
