Raenisha Watson, NC, LPCMH

Licensed Professional Counselor

Originally from Philadelphia, Raenisha brings a strong foundation in both science and compassion to her work as a mental health professional. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Penn State University in 2015, with a focus on Biological Evolutionary Psychology. During her time there, she volunteered at the Community Help Centre, a 24-hour crisis hotline offering human services information, brief intervention counseling, and referral support—an experience that sparked her passion for client-centered care.

Raenisha went on to earn her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. During her graduate studies, she completed her clinical internship at The Wedge Recovery Center, where she developed collaborative, goal-oriented treatment plans and provided direct counseling services under the supervision of licensed clinicians. Her experience there deepened her understanding of diverse populations and strengthened her skills in trauma-informed, culturally responsive care.

In 2021, Raenisha relocated to Delaware and began her career as a Psychiatric Social Worker, supporting individuals with substance use, mental health, and co-occurring disorders while actively working toward clinical licensure in the state.

Raenisha is known for her outgoing, optimistic presence and her belief that every day offers a new opportunity for growth. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, diving into a good book, watching anime and scary movies, and fully embracing the adventure of everyday life.
